In celebration of this year’s Mother’s Day celebration, Username Properties visited Shalom Community Hospital in Kitengela for a special Corporate Social Responsibility (CSR) activity that was targeted at celebrating and appreciating mothers ahead of Mother’s Day on 10th May 2026.
During the visit, the atmosphere at the hospital was warm and thankful as the mothers interacted with the team and received the hampers. The day was a memorable one, filled with conversations, smiles and heartfelt moments resulting in an emotional and impactful experience for the beneficiaries and the staff involved.
The activity saw the Username Properties team and healthcare professionals unite for a common goal of sharing kindness, encouragement and practical support to mothers and newborns. The company provided specially prepared hampers with diapers, baby wipes, sanitary items and essential toiletries to mothers who had recently delivered, as well as mothers visiting the hospital for maternal clinics, baby vaccinations and routine check-ups. The gesture was meant to provide tangible support, while acknowledging the strength, sacrifice and resilience of mothers in the community.
For many mothers, the postpartum period is a moment of immense joy and responsibility, where they need a lot of support and care. Username Properties understood the significance of this phase of family life and worked hard to make the day memorable by providing support items that would ease the daily needs of both mother and child. The initiative was not only about giving material items, but also showing appreciation to mothers for the vital role they play in shaping families, communities and society as a whole.
