Username Investment Ltd. bagged The 2018 Top 100 Mid-sized Companies Award during the recently held Gala Dinner at Carnivore Restaurant. Username emerged top after a Survey conducted by KPMG and Nation Media Group that sought to identify and recognize the country’s fastest growing medium-sized companies and celebrate the most outstanding entrepreneurs.

The Survey is conducted annually and in order to qualify, participants must have had their accounts audited for the last three years, not listed at the Nairobi Securities Exchange and must not be in the banking, insurance, accounting or audit industries. This year the entry point for companies’ was a turnover of Kshs 50 Million from the previous year’s 70 million.

“We have received this award as a recognition for our positive contribution to making property accessible to young people and creation of employment in Kenya. I am proud that since our establishment in 2013 we have created employment to over 50 employees directly and over 500 indirectly and provided land to over 5,500 clients in line with the Government’s Big Four Agenda.” Reuben Kimani, CEO, Username Investment Ltd. said as he received the award.

On the same day, Reuben Kimani received the Entrepreneur of the Year Award by Kenya Professional Realtors Association (KPRA) in a Gala Dinner held at Kenya School of Monetary Studies. Reuben was awarded for his unique contribution in making property affordable in Kenya. The event brought together buyers, sellers, commercial developer, investors and service providers in the real estate industry. The theme of the event was “Raising The Bar in Kenya Real Estate Market”. This aimed at helping Real Estate professionals take advantage of the robust industry and sizeable profitable opportunities by enhanced service levels and professionalism.
